Addition of ‘Play’ to Its Navigation Bar – Google’s New Signature

Google is spreading its tentacles. At least you can be sure of that from what it has added to its widely recognized features. Just have a look at the navigation bar of Google. It has recently got a new option ‘Play’. For the first time the search engine monster is offering an option of promotion of its own contents including books, video, Music, Android apps. For that purpose, it has recently developed its Google Play site.

The promotional link regarding Google Play can be easily spotted below the search box.  It is almost a reincarnation for Google Plus because previously it came to be popularly known as Android Market. The site re-launch is meant to be a means for Google to sell content to anyone interested. Therefore, the content sale is not only restricted to only the Android owners and the intended motive is to reach out to the larger pool of different app users.

Google users and addicted can navigate through the products and services of Google’s very own through its navigation bar. Google Play is unique in its own right. It is the only Google service used as an online signature of the company’s offering. There are other services too and the most important of them is Google Shopping (you can find this under ‘More) and it directs people out of Google to make a buy and bargain (?).
